That's because this is in 88, and the cd version 83. 88/89 was a very difficult time for Bruce's voice....

And, anyway, listening to this, we can prove that the "The Trooper" version from "The BBC Archives" was overdubbed. I Think Bruce Re-recorded this song in the BBC studios. No problem... hehe. They're still the best!
