a new s-class hybrid model only safes 2-3liters on 100km less than the normal model, u can see if u click here... anyway. how is it with trucks? how much liters they safe???

Here is some text on the solution, that I borrowed:
Volvo has developed a hybrid solution for heavy vehicles that combines, the diesel engine with an electric motor. The truck can accelerate under electric power alone, which promotes lower fuel consumption, lower emissions and lower noise levels.
From the video: Focus is on developing and testing solutions that provide enough power while still being cost-effective. Great news.
