If you google it, USA Today tells of a study that discovered that 100% of CEOs were spanked, and many had strict parents. 

Dr. Marjorie Gunnoe is a psychologist whose study found that kids who were spanked up to age 6 performed better in school as teens. Again, it can be found using google (I can't seem to leave the link here).

Anyone who buys that ohiospankster is a mental health professional needs to read his childish first post on pg 9. The truth is that causality requires a longitudinal study where randomly assigned parents agree to spank or don't. This has never been done. While a few studies show spanked kids are worse behaved, the likelihood is worse behaved kids get spanked more due to behavior, not the other way around. BTW Straus is a sociologist, not a psychologist, & few psychologists agree w/his extremism.

@ohiospankster I know a lot more about suicide than you probably do, because I've thought of it before and I've known those you have tried it and wanted to do it. And that is exactly what I was trying to say suicidals' have problems so duh the stupid things make them go off. And no duh my grammar isn't all that good yet, I haven't learned EVERYTHING yet. But I really don't care what other people think of me because I have no reason to get worked up over someone that I won't ever see or meet.

Because some people believe its ok and some don't so I really don't give a dang if you spank your kid or not. Its that person's choice on how they want to discipline there kid. Not the governments.

@ohiospankster OK look its just my opinion on this so I don't have to have reasons for just believing in somethings. Also so what if I live in a rural area its not my fault that, that is where I was born. Also I've never been spanked so there, just my big brother like three times by our grandpa. Plus I know that your're smarter than I am because your older than me so I'm not denying that. And I'm not going to be able to do all the research you can because of your "higher education."
