  • Spade was always totally professional on the show, but he said this was the one time he almost broke character trying not to laugh (didn't completely work, as you see here). Also, he said Farley didn't do the hitching up his belt, and 'back on the right track" arm gestures during dress, so during the show it took ALL his willpower not to crack up. Don't blame him. I don't see how ANYONE onstage could keep from at least giggling. Man, I wish this big guy was still around. I miss him so much.

  • This is one of my favorite things in the history of comedy, this moment right here. It's fascinating watching Spade and Applegate try to hold it together. I especially love watching Spades expression a second or two after he starts the "Nordic-Trak" thing, when he's realizing he's not gonna be able to contain it. Trying to break up his co-stars is a genius idea; it's almost as funny watching them try not to laugh as it is watching him.
