Okay people. Let's get this clear. The video was uploaded as a joke (see the date, the uploader has confirmed this in the comments anyway) and if you'd noticed at the start it was the old BBC News studio pre-1999. Also notice that at the beginning it says "1950-1998" and at the end "1958-Today". You've probably watched an episode of Top Gear on Dave dated "MMVIII", so he's still alive. Unless, of course, you happen to read/watch the news today and it does actually say he died.
