Sign of UFO or HAARP over Taiwan?

A seemingly unnatural phenomenon witnessed above the skies of Tainan City, Taiwan on 1/10/2012 at 11:00 am local time. The perfect sphere appeared sometime after 10:15 am, because no one witnessed it before then. Notice how the clouds that were in the circle are vaporized. No one knows if it was a sign of a UFO, HAARP testing, a good omen or a bad omen. What could cause this? The sphere seemed too large and too perfect to be a natural occurrence. Give the distance and altitude, I estimate the radius of the sphere to be at least 2 km.

A fallstreak hole (also: hole punch cloud) is a large circular gap that can appear in cirrocumulus or altocumulus clouds. Such holes are formed when the water temperature in the clouds is below freezing but the water has not frozen yet due to the lack of ice nucleation particles. When a portion of the water does start to freeze it will set off a domino effect causing the water vapor around it to freeze and fall to the earth as well, spreading outward from center to produce a "hole"...
