i think there should be 2 versions of windows 8 one being a tablet edition and the other a desktop editon the consumer preview that is out now ,should be the tablet version, and they should develop a desktop version which has the normal windows desktop and user interface

If that's the case, start looking for another career. Leave programming for the ones who will follow the evolution. Talking about evolution, typing is also going to be obsolete. Voice recognition is another path for the future. I'm sure multi-touch/voice recognition is the winning combo to interact with computers and TVs and games in the near future. Don't believe it?! Wait and see.

So far, with the Consumer Preview, Windows 8 is pretty awesome! The Developer Preview didn't impress me much, but the changes they made recently seem to have made it much more useful with Metro.
