@trombonepenguin Not to say that you're completely wrong, but I'd have to agree that memorizing music, even for 2-3 hours, is nothing special especially since they do it every night. A college graduate concert musician is supposed to have one hour's worth of music memorized at least in some colleges. Jazz musicians are expected to have hundreds of charts memorized. Japanese musicians memorize their music starting in elementary school. What makes them great musicians is everything else they do.

@longshot855 and the tubist =D

@tonybtones spending months memorizing a 10 minute or less high school or college level (or even a 12 minute corps level) show is nothing special. That's baby s**t compared to playing a 2-3 hour memorized show of the high caliber that these guys do... flawlessly. Night after night. Thats special. "Memorized" is a terrible word for these guys anyways, cause they're not simply regurgitating the same stuff every night. Every show is a new experience for the same music, cause they're true artists.

@pjsage921 It would be highly inconvinient to have to change pages every five seconds ;)

the trombone guys are dead after this :p

idk how that stuck that screaming hot shit next to that trombone but they made it work

@TonyBtones They memorize all their pieces though and most of their stuff is 10x more difficult than most marching band music unless you're in a drum corps which then it still isn't a marching band it's a corps!

@pjsage921 You have to memorize your music for marching band too. They're great musicians, but them memorizing their music is nothing special.
