Dirk Ex 3

Watching the latest gameplay preview of Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution, with its overuse of third-person, blatant action hinting, and non-interactive "takedowns", I found myself stricken with an attack of deja-vu. In a valiant attempt to ward off the attack, and not wanting to wash the dishes, I created this. May god have mercy on my soul.

Who would have thought 3 years ago it was going to be this bad, especially since eidos were so keen on touting the premise this new game was taking the first as it's inspiration. Yeah right.

The interface and gameplay seem very clearly more based on the second game rather than the first... which is bizarre since virtually everyone agrees the original is better.

Also, it's not as graphically impressive as expected at least so far. it seems way to monochrome. Say what you will about the graphics in the original Deus Ex, it was at least a colorful game

I take it you are some Deus Ex elitst who thinks the first game is the most intelligent and complex game ever and this game is dummed down for console kids?

I could have forgiven everything IF when you drag bodies they leave a blood trail, assuming you killed them. This is 2011 after all, if I want my game to be a blood bath then dammit it should be!

Even better would be if you could drag the bodies, dead or knocked out, onto the small fires thereby creating a distraction as the other guards come running to see what that awful smell is, allowing you to sneak into otherwise inaccessible areas.
