This government "bailout" is not going to keep the average American from losing their job, having their mortgage foreclosed on, and drying up the possibilities of them being able to borrow money. This buyout only benefits the rich. There is now a 2-tiered system in the US, consisting of the super-rich, and everybody else. These policies are then spun and "sold" to the American people with rhetoric, but they do not benefit the middle and lower classes. The US now has an elite "royal family".

Be realistic--republicans had the majority for 40 years not the dems. 35 years ago..I built a beautiful home in Jersey..was in it 9 months..my tax bill jumped in one year $1100 increase. I saw the writing on the wall then. East and west coast belong to the world wealthy..not to regular people thanks to my republican party and some dems who are basically fed by the corporate elitist. You don't think they are in that job for their yearly salary do you?

oh and i just noticed your comment about the bailout, if we didn't bail out AIG and the auto makers, many more jobs would've suffered, the bank system would've collapsed, and it would've been another depression. So yeah, the bailout was needed and stopped us from falling even further. So, yeah. Plus... what did we lie about. Its not like we said it would FIX everything, it would just prevent it from getting worse -_-

ummm teachers are paid through taxes, so yes they do. Im sure the new gov will do 'something' concerning lowering taxes... maybe... but what gets me is that he keeps talking about how shitty the schools are when they're not in jersey, which leads me to believe hes going to reform the school budget and effectively screw over the school system there...

Plus, to us new yorkers, jersey is unfixable shit anyways :D

Ah foolish Firl...Republicans are all powerful all knowing and all, all. Being in power officially is not required when you are GOP. Why fight it? They are God's Bush is still running the show, give it up, submit. GOP has allowed DEMS in office for them to feel better about themselves purposes only.
