The Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 DSP is a 16 in / 8 out FireWire audio interface, featuring real-time DSP-powered tracking and mixing solutions tailor-made for the modern home studio environment.

Alongside DSP-powered compression and EQ for ultra-low-latency tracking and 'comfort' reverb, is VRM; a Virtual Reference Monitoring technology that lets you hear your mix in different environments, through different speakers and from different positions, all just using headphones.

Saffire PRO 24 DSP draws on twenty-five years of mic pre excellence. The two Focusrite preamps capture every subtle nuance of your sound whilst ensuring low noise and distortion. Meanwhile, high-quality digital conversion and JetPLL™ jitter reduction technology ensure pristine audio quality as your audio flows between the analogue and digital domains.

This live recording session of The Travelling Band was made using a Saffire PRO 24 DSP audio interface. The track was created using Saffire MixControl and Pro Tools 9.

  • hey does the Pro 40 do the same, send FX to the Monitor headphones! i know it can send up to 8 mono out independent mixes, but can i add EQ, Com, Limiter, and reverb to each out and in????? thanks!

  • @ZinayH The pro 40 doesn't have built in DSP to add Compressor, eq or reverb like the Pro 24. However you would be able to do this from within your daw if you had the plugins to do so.

  • @FocusriteTV How does the VRM on the Saffire Pro 24 DSP compare to VRM using a VRM Box? Thank you.

  • @MrDiscoHB The VRM on the Pro 24 DSP is the same as in the VRM box

  • Does anyone know how to get the 24 pro and the octopre to show on logic? at the moment my mixcontrol detects both on zero latency tracking but then Logic doesn't detect anything, if i move it over to daw tracking, logic detects the pro 24 only. everything from syncing to khz matching is spot on, interfaces locking etc. but i just can't seem to expand the amount of channels through the octopre successfully... any help?

  • @wikusdr It would probably make sense to get in contact with our via the contact form on our answerbase. We will be able to advise you on the best way to set up these devices together to work with Logic.

  • Hey man. What is the diff between and the scarlett 2i2

  • Will this audio interface (Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 ) work well with Logic Studio Pro on an iMac?

  • I am new to the audio interface. Just want to ask , how all these inputs from different mics are recording via PRO 24 at the same time

  • Saffire Pro 24 DSP, c'est la carte son! Et le titre du morceau: Screaming Is Something. Koutau Nui...

  • I love my Saffire Pro 24 DSP!

  • Hey there, great video. Does the SPDIF Optical input allow you to use the 8 extra channels on a Mackie Vlz 1402 mixing console? or is that not possible. Help would be very much appreciated.

  • Just bought this.. but the non DSP version. If it wasn't for your YouTube videos you wouldn't have had a customer. Thank you.

  • @CKY396 Well I'm gonna guess all together at once since they mentioned that they needed to use dynamic instead of condenser to reduce spill on the recording. And the video shows them all playing together while mic'ed.
