Monster Hunter 3 Tri Wii on PAL Wii

Ok, this is how to get MH3 on a PAL Wii to work! (My Wii is running FW 4.1E)

WARNING! This tut is for softmodded Wiis only!

Things needed:

Your Wii, with the following installed: HBC, ciosbugfix55.wad from the cioscorp package, cIOS38rev14, the new Gecko OS 1.9.2, the MH3 ISO, Wii Remote and the Wii classic controller(The game works ONLY with the classic controller).

Put the ISO into your Wii, start HBC, select Gecko OS 1.9.2, go to settings in Gecko, select Language japanese, force NTSC yes, all other options choose no or leave the default(as seen in the video).

When done, push B, start the game with A button and all should be set for hunting some Monsters xD

We are using Gecko bc using other loaders will cause the game to freeze while changing the name of the hunter in the character screen.

The tools needed and how to install them can be found on specialised sites and via google search.

The same tut can be used for Monster Hunter G, it works too!

Ihr benötigt dazu:

Eure Wii auf der folgendes installiert sein muss: HBC, der ciosbugfix55.wad aus dem Cioscorp Package, cIOS38rev14 und Gecko OS 1.9.2, die ISO von MH3, Wii Remote und den Wii Classic Controller(das Spiel läuft NUR mit dem Classic Controller).

Legt die ISO in eure Wii, startet den HBC, wählt Gecko OS 1.9.2 aus, geht zu den Einstellungen in Gecko, wählt als Sprache japanisch, force NTSC yes und alles andere no bzw. default(wie im Video zu erkennen).

Dann B drücken, Spiel mit A starten und alles sollte laufen.

Mit Gecko OS kann man auch seinen Namen beim MH3 Charakter ändern, was mit anderen Loadern nicht geht weil die Wii einfriert.

Die benötigten Tools und Installationshinweise und Tuts findet ihr auf einschlägigen Seiten und Google hilft auch gerne;-P

Dieselbe Vorgehensweise kann auch bei Monster Hunter G angewendet werden!

I playing Monster Hunter 3 but it have only white-black screen while playing

it can be becouse i have older type of television? (all other games are alright) game have NTSC-J region, can it be becouse of it? my wii is PAL

when i force pal ---> screen will be green and freeze

You can try to use Any region changer and set video output to NTSC, this is what I did.

I´ve heard from other ppl that if you connect your Wii to either a DVD player or video recorder which is connected to the TV the picture will be in color too.

Jo, bin WIRKLICH total neu in dieser art von SOftmod, habe mir mal nen wiikey zugelegt gehabt, und sonst NIX mit der Konsole angefangen, hatte auch New Super Mario bros. Wii nicht zum laufen gekriegt...

Kannste mir nicht nen Tipp geben wie ich...

8Hatte bei NSMB ne menge an IOS usw. versucht und hatte alles net geklappt, ist immer abgestürtzt bei einer IOS installation)
