Tribute to Martin from Glastonbury UK. part 1
As the title says, a tribute video to MHarris1920 (Martin).Who passed away recently and was an elder statesman of youtube who made a deep impression on many people.
Martin was stationed in Glastonbury UK for some months during WW2.
In his video's he mentioned having fond memories of Glastonbury, he was stationed in what is called the Abbey park, next to Glastonbury Abbey in what is known as a tented barracks.
He had sent me a message I didnt see until the 15th oct, I then sent him a message offering to make him a video of glastonbury consisting of the places he remebered, I posted the message only to discover a short while later that he had passed away.
I've put together this short tribute video which shows the Abbey Park, some clips of the Abbey and a sequence of video showing a small chapel just down the road from the abbey park, its called the Magdalene chapel and dates back to the 13 century.
When I went there and let myself in, there were three candles burning in front of the Altar, no one else was there, I walked up knelt down and lit a 3rd candle in memory of Martin.
In all probability Martin would most likely have visited this little chapel while he was here, especially as it was across the road from his tented barracks, its a favourite place for anyone who stays longer than a few hours.

What a moving, beautiful tribute to Martin. As many view this video and walk with you into the chapel, will most likely as I did..say a prayer as you were lighting the candle. How very heartwarming.

Thankyou, it was a beautiful moment, inspired by Martin Harris and his video's.

I thought I would take a look at this elderly American Gentlemans video's and was very surprised to hear him suddenly talk about Glastonbury and the Abbey park, I lived overlooking the park for 25yrs and raised my 2 children there, so it became 'personal' and really touching, a very gentle and uplifting story!

it needs volunteers now, two people are needed to keep it open.( new laws i think) so if youre intereste in being a guardian to this place, lighting cadles keeping a open space go see zero in the sufi charity shop. its is a holy place for christ and divine mother energies, Mother God.
