WAyy faster than the LP version. Shame these fellas did'nt have the exposure U2 had. MUch more artistic and creative in thier melodic phrasing.

First heard this about 15 years ago on an compilation of Icelandic rock music (not Rokk i Reykjavik). Absolutely brilliant. Somebody get their arse in gear and get the film released on DVD!!

@paid01 You may have realised since you posted that comment 4 years ago, but it has now been released on DVD.

Listened to this for the first time in ages; nice to see that a few people liked my comment.. :-) Shucks.. I've had a think about the album, and I think it was callled "Geyser - An Anthology Of Independent Icelandic Music". Vonbrigdi were also featured with "Kjot", and Sveinbjorn Sverrison was also featured. (At least, I think that that was his name.) Wonderful stuff. I wonder if anyone has "Kjot"??

Remind everyone, this group is an original in rock, ok Joy Division were coming in but hello! the power you get is pure Icelandic rock'n'roll natural source, Þeyr did their thing and no bands have ever done anything near it so far!!

Anyone got the lyrics?

Impresionante verlos en acción, gracias por mostrarlo.

This song reminds me of Oingo Boingo.

This song sounds inspired by Joy Division's "Glass". Its amazing how the album version is totally different and yet both are excellent in there own right (the album version is quite camp, pseudo-electronic and really well produced).
Anyone have lyrics to The Walk, Positive Affirmations and Lunaire yet?
I did myself have translations of all their icelandic lyrics.....if anyone wants these in the future....

There is a page about Þeyr on MySpace. Go there and check by yourself (I can't put the link here, because it's not allowed in the comment).
