This is the end scenes of the 1983 and 2004 of return of the Jedi where Sebastion Shaw was replaced by Hayden Christensen. Which is better? The 1983 version Lucas wants everyone to forget, or the new one?

  • Indeed, Vader died as old prick and so his ghost shouldn't appear as 18y.o. brat. Also Anakin changed his mentality close to dying and not around that age... So double fail.

Music is on plus imo and wow these colours and quallity difference... :O maybe ill watch this again cos i saw older parts as kid 10 years ago last time...

  • *All the kids Anakin killed show up*

Kids: You killed us as children.

    Anikin: Ummm.....

Far be it from me to try and argue with anyone on the internet, but in my opinion it was because vader had "redeemed himself", or at least that's what I think Lucas was trying to get across.

True bro the music of the first part sounded like the teddies were jerking off after seeing Leya's bikini gold edition....... Well Jaba the hut did at the start!!!!!!

  • @Dfulton46 im referring to any stormtroopers left on the planet, but srsly it was practically over, their leader IS dead and so is vader.

  • @orkkilla5589 the war wasn't officially over during the end of this movie

  • It took me a sec to realize what was so weird about the new one but then it hit me "where the hell is the ewok celebration song?!". That was like the best thing ever when I was a kid. They'd play the Ewok celebration song then it'd cut straight into the Star Wars theme song (I don't know the official name). I'm not a die hard fan, but I am a fan that watched these as a kid and hope to show my kids these movies one day.I'll definitely be showing them the originals like I saw, they're irreplacable

  • @Teeheehee093 Symbolically it makes sense, logically it does not.

  • What I really wanna know is what the stormtroopers/clonetroopers are gonna do now.

Stormtrooper 1: Well our empire is crushed, our leader dead, and we have practically nothing to do.

Stormtrooper 2: Well, bar it is then.

  • lol, lucas had no real clue what he was going to do in the prequels.

  • 2004 IS BEST

  • I like Hayden's version its more emotional to be honest.
