  • Note to Neeme. It's a panoramic vista from the summit, not the Daytona 500.

  • 0:50 The cymbal player mucks up XD

  • geile posaunen ab 0:38 ^^

  • @SuperJox It just sounds so epic, that's why. :)

  • remember a tv advertising: at an orchestra a trumpeter played faster than the others, after he had finished he jumped up and shouted: "First!"

  • @Leoboy729 Totally agree with you there mate, this piece sounds a bit rushed and would have sounded much better slowed down a touch.

  • @mdenero Sorry mate, but the Berlin Phil with Karajan is the closest thing to musical perfection with this piece that ive heard, but we are all entitled to our opinion.

  • @SuperJox Well it's not explicitly marked in the part (like a lot of contra parts) but I'm fairly certain Strauss intended the fourth trombone to be a contrabass. I could be wrong though.

  • I wonder why there's always a contrabass trombone when its never marked for it. It's just a pedal G and low C

  • @giorgiocosmin agreed...except maybe CSO or NYPO
