Texting while driving makes drivers six times more likely to be in an accident and the U.S. gov't wants to get involved in state law. Harry Smith talks to Ray LaHood, Secretary of Transportation.
I commend RayLaHood for his concern and efforts to rid this terrible problem and take the moveing gun out of ignorant peoples hands. My hats off to you sir !
I think that anyone caught useing a cell phone while driveing eather texting or talking should be fined 500 dollars, do 100 hrs of community service and be put on driveing probation for 6 months. Eighty percent of all driveing accidents are caused by ignorant cell phone users. Also the police officer should be given 100 dollars of the fine. This should reduce the number of ignorant people that think laws are for everyone elese except them. The cell phone has made everyone think they are a someone.
