(Dec. 17, 2009) President Shimon Peres delievers his keynote address at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP 15). In his speech the President argues for setting aside political disputes with Israel's neighbors to make concrete progress on climate change: "I call upon our neighbors, even those with whom we have not yet reached diplomatic relations, to join hands. In an effort to save our region... Environmental collaboration should not stop the commitment to peace. On the contrary, it may encourage it.

Israel, despite having a tiny territory without too much natural resources, is a wonderful country in the care of the environment. If some nations would imitate him, maybe they would administrate better their resources.
