Why is it that the most realistic war movie is being invaded by the kiddies who play MW3 and think they know everything about the military and firearms from a fucking video game?
Yeah, I play BF3, I've played shooters since I was half my height, and I'm interested in the Military, but I'm not a damn fool.
@TheIckyRicky dude, stop comparing this movie with the latest game out there. these guys don't treat it like its a game, its a freaking movie that features real stuff instead of that battlefield/cod shit every gamer has boners about
@thevoice421 although you are right that this is definitely an increased risk to the movie's crew, the idea and concept of having nonmilitary personnel in a live fire situation is not necessarily new. The SAS have a history of showing their skills by involving VIP's as hostages in their Killing House's live fire training exercises. I would trust these guys to the point that I wouldn't need a flak jacket or a helmet while they shoot flies around me at 300 meters. They are the best in what they do
Going for the real effect is great and all, but I'm surprised the SEALs didn't bring it up as an unnecessary risk. As highly trained as they are, accidents still happen... then a cameraman ends up with 100 rounds searing through his torso
@Gamer4051 did you not hear what they just said? they didn't "just go into a forest or something blowing things up with assault rifles firing live information." they went into THEIR forest which THEY own and use as a training area and LIVE FIRE RANGE, shooting and blowing things up with LIVE AMMUNITION from not just assault rifles, but also M134 MINIGUNS, M240 MACHINE GUNS, AND (not shown) M72 LAWs. 0:47, "...they train how they operate. That means using live bullets" hence the title.
@NickyAmerica yeah, there are no such things as "perks" or "kick" on a battlefield...sorry guys
