  • hey,can i ask you something?how the powersource?is it using battery or what?sorry for my bad english

  • @Badigul86 its not bad, charging takes a while though cuz its an 11.1v li ion.

  • just a little constructive criticism from a game modder:

You do know loading games off a USB stick is going to suck (lag). Pretty much wont be able to play any worth while games with long movie scenes

Your best bet was to incorporate the ps2's ethernet port and play networked games (although now it is no longer portable)

Next best bet is to run them off an externally powered hdd (which also ruins your portability).

Bottom line, the ps2 cannot be a functioning portable system. Nice novelty though

There is no lag on any games i play on this. I use power defragmenter on the iso's and the video scenes hold no lag.

  • For Sale??

  • @cinammonpoptart no, not for sale. but your welcome to come tot he moddedbybacteria forums and learn how to make one!

Lol when I read this I almost pissed myself laughing! I hope that he has realized that A. Running off USB can actually be FASTER than loading on a disc and B. Movie sequences don't put much strain on data flow. A good example is Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2. Both it's cinematic and game engine cutscenes work flawlessly. I'm disappointed to see a "game modder" who hasn't seen the many videos and instructions on playing PS2 off USB.

  • very good man

  • What happened to the PS2 normal startup screen?

  • @dedpxl Actually, there are tons of nonofficial emulators and custom firmware that work great. I mod PSPs as a hobby. If you want, I can teach you how. The flash firmware doesnt even void your PSP network privileges. You can reach me at selsharesthan@gmail.com if you want pointers. There is even a PDF-Ebook reader, and a comic reader.

  • @selsharesthan yeah, anything 3d it can't emulate. just like the PS3.

except of course there's the official ps1 emulator buy that doesn't really count.

  • RIP headphone users

  • Forgot GB, GBC, GBA, and ALL SEGA systems. Gamegear, Master System, SEGA, and SEGA CD.

  • Actually, the PSP has excellent emulation. ALL ATARI systems, ALL stand up MAME, Neo Geo, PS1, NES, SNES, N64 (sound is a bit buggy), MS DOS, etc. There are only a few systems it cannot play, namely DS, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, and pretty much any gaming system that was released after the PS1 system. Some emulators don't exist because of the lack of interest in the given system, but that is to be expected. I do however think this is well done. Considering building one myself.

  • you should make this a video a vid response to his ps1 portable vid so he can see it :)
