There is always another reason to buy a new television! all those people who thought they had future proofed themselves with a 1080p television thought wrong! the next TV I get will be 3D enabled! assuming its not all just a flash in the pan. the main downside to the active shutter TV's is the cost of the glasses!

Its the same as when Sky HD was first released! no doubt the price will come down in time and everyone will be able to afford a 3D television! I assume then there will be more specialised 3D channels for the various genres like Sky1 3D and Sky Sports 3D ect!

waste of money, he didn't say anything about the most important thing on any tv, that is picture quality compared to a HD signal - mind you, i was watching the arsenal match in the background.
do you have to waer glasses on all the new 3d tv's?
and when sky 3d channels cum out can i use it on my normal tv?

@a1an1991 Yes you have to wear glasses on all the TVs coming out in the near future and no, you can't see 3D on a normal TV. You have to buy a 3D TV.
