I've always wanted to hear what the aria to the Goldberg variations might sound like on the carillon--so, voila, here it is! In this reading on the UC Riverside Carillon, I had to make a few adjustments-- especially with notes in the bass. Also, I played this a little slower here than I normally would on the harpsichord because of the overtones of the bells and their long sustain.

  • this is so great

  • excellent

  • Nice playing ; beautifull carillon; keyboard needs some repair to get it silent. Did you als see the Bach Passacaglia by Boudewijn Zwart on Youtube? It can be played faster! Bach is for me beginning and ending of all music.

  • i like it

  • Wonderful job!
