  • very flexible and relaxed but powerful.

he goes to Moscow, Tel Aviv, South France, UK and Barca ... and US ... usually each year.

Best move to Japan and study under him. you can't learn someone's aikido by seeing them at seminar's a couple times of year. kidding yourselves.

he teaches Wed and Fri at hombu dojo and has his own dojo too.

  • His heart is pure! His technic is briliant! He is deeply relaxed in the uper body and heavy in the lower body! His arms, body and spirit are full of KI! He is very accurate on the center and take his oponent center with judicious presure and Ki, perfect Mawai, perfect Irimi-Tenkan and Kokyu! Not only a talented aikidoka, but a inteligent sensei! A genious! He is without doubt in the very top best of this generation in the following of O sensei and yamaguchi seigo

  • See above response from GWeedons.

  • He comes to our Dojo in Oyama, Japan every month. He visited tonight and gave me a beating (I take his uke). His Aikido is indeed amazing. We often do the same sort of thing each time he comes, but I learn so much.

  • I have seen him in San Diego twice personally for the Birankai summer camps. Everything else I could mention would only be hearsay.

  • True! He might just be at the peak of his performance! Phenomenal is just about fair enough to describe it :)

  • I found out about Moscow, Israel, Germany every second year and GB. Are there other places he visits regularly?

  • Ya, he actually travels abroad often.

  • Have a look at the video/DVD sections of the British Aikikai and the Birankai International. Miyamoto Shihan has been a regular visitor to the British Aikikai Summer School and there is a lot of excellent video avilable (his Aikido is quite phenomenal at the moment!)
