N643JB taking off from Runway 33L for New York-JFK. i know, you get to see my blasted finger appearances. i'm getting used to recording on my phone. also, it was very windy and this runway was very bumpy, so i had to find different ways to brace the camera phone.

  • How light was that flight? That wasn't much of a takeoff roll!

  • @pilotofa737 it was actually pretty windy that day. i forget the wind direction/velocity, but it was a little intense. if you listen to some of the passengers after takeoff, you can hear them having a bit of fun with the minor turbulence/crosswinds. the takeoff roll from LAS was just as nearly as short as this one because the wind was pretty fast. the flight was pretty full with only 3-4 seats open.

  • @brownbrownson That's a pretty full flight. That wind must've been gusting heavy that day for sure! I've never seen an A320 use such a short amount of runway in LAS neither but i never knew the A320 can use that short of a strip of runway to take off without kick starting like at White Plains.

  • great vid!
