  • What type of tape are you using?

  • @Jrenglehorn When taping the poly down on the wet floor we use painters tape. We usually buy it from Home Depot in a large pack. It does not stick really great to the poly but it avoids damaging the finish on the hardwood. If I have to tape anything to the poly like feeder or trunk lines from the Injectidry System then we use Preservation Tape from DR Shrink. The Preservation tape sticks to poly better than anything else. Good luck on your hardwood floor drying projects. Clay

  • OMG!!!! Exact same thing with our front load Whirlpool washer, sand in a valve which made it stick.....our repairs were $35,000.00 my floor was ruined. I am so sorry it is an awful thing to go through.

  • @aaaflooddrying I am not sure I understand your question, could you be a little more specific? Thanx Clay.

  • Does anyone know what the difference between injector-type floor mats vs. ducted type floormats is?

  • Hi, Clay was super helpful and knowledgeable even though he knew I was out of his region and would get the business! Looks like the one to trust if you're lucky enough that he's in your region.

  • Thank you SO much for all of your help!! I called all the way from MN and you filled me on exactly what to do, and how to handle the situation. Thank you!!
