In 1991 I played keyboards and toured with Darby Mills and the Unsung Heroes. Here is the video for 'Cry to Me' from the CD 'Never Look Back'.

  • Darby Mills, Lee Aaron, and don`t forget Chissy Steele , i saw the three of them in Thunder Bay Ont. in 1990 . Wow what a show ! The girls know how to rock! It is hard to find good stuff like them anymore!

  • When I was with Darby, we played Thunder Bay with Lee Aaron Oct 10/91 at the C.L.E. Colliseum. That arena was cooooooold.

  • I remember seeing Darby live on tour when this song came out. She was playing with Lee Aaron. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

  • Yes, "Some Girls Do" tour 1991. I was playing keyboards for Darby.

  • Just discovered this via Munich's Hardest Hits ~ Big Like!!

  • Wow this is LEGIT My friend Disa Mills told me to look up Darby Mills in youtube cause it's her cousin.. I didn't belive her

  • @jimjr155 Totally agree with you there!

  • @changtuber it's sad that some of these acts, including female-led acts, are writing and releasing new material of superior quality and they are largely not heard or marketed...more than ever, a live set sells the act, because mtv sure doesn't do it...the "hits" sometimes aren't as brilliant and often were written for the act and not by the act...

  • @jimjr155 you're right, they do each have their unique talents. I love Pat's tough-girl era music (Hit me with your best shot, Hell is for children, etc.), and darby's much less well known. Hah, I didn't know about the Sass-Tina comparison... she should be flattered!

  • what happened to her anyway?

  • heh, that's why i hate making comparisons...you are right...they each have their own thing...the comparison was made only for anyone who reads this and isn't familiar with darby, and "generally" more people are familiar with benatar...after that, they would find maybe more of a janis joplin thing and so on...the industry is funny because when sass jordan came on the scene, she was flattered to be compared to tina turner...of course, there was a difference of era in that case...
