Cisse alerts Newcastle, Spurs and Arsenal with 'come and get me plea'
Newcastle target Papiss Cisse has signalled his intention to play in the Premier League, alerting Arsenal, Tottenham, Sunderland and Fulham in the process
The Freiburg striker has eight goals in 12 Bundesliga games this season, and has been attracting interest from a host of teams throughout Europe.
Now the 26-year-old has hinted the German club would be willing to listen to the right offer, and with a number of Premier League sides looking to add firepower to their ranks in January, a New Year move could be on the cards.
'I want to test myself at a big club and I believe I would be a big success in England,' Cisse told Goal.com.
'I watch the Premier League and I am pleased that people are talking about me in the same sentence as good clubs.

'My aim is to be the best I can be, we will see what happens but my club know my position.'

  • Sunderland fans always have an excuse for everything...

  • @TheSafc96 Poor sunderland supporters, always having to look back hundreds of years to find their last great derby result, when ours was only last year, face it, Newcastle are the better team, better players, better finances, bigger and better ground, better fans (outsing yours and any others in the league), better kit, better style of play, better results... I could go on all day long

  • @TheSafc96 You're the one trying to take the piss out of our ground, which is actually called St James Park again as a motion was passed by Newcastle's council to change it for all media purposes, effectively making it known universally as St James' Park again, except to anyone wishing to buy the naming rights, as of which it would be known the Sports Direct Arena until a new name was agreed upon by the club and council, so yano, It's still St James' park to everyone, including media

  • @TheSafc96 Demba ba, cabaye, santon, coloccini, cisse, tiote, jonas, krul, vuckic, guthrie, steven taylor are all better than any one player in your squad. We were in the championship and now we're fifth in the premier league, how times change, but you're still under us, it's all good!

  • @TheSafc96 You've not got a win at St James' in how long? Stop living in the past

  • @thewhippetbeans 9-1 you clown 9-1, yes may have been 100 odd year ago9 but if yous want to go in the past then beat 9-1 and come and tell me, if yous havent one by more than 9-1 against us then we have the largest victory so 9-1 9-1 9-1 9-1
