1971. Flip side of "Ride With Me". Weird experimentatal instrumental. Not sure if this track was ever on an album or rereleased on any Steppenwolf comps later on. One of the longest songs that i know of to be one side of a 45rpm. This song is 8 minutes and 48 seconds and is very little known unlike Paridise By The Dashboard Lights by Meatloaf which is said to be the longest song on a 45.
yes, I remember this. Been looking for it for a long time. It was on a juke box where we use to hang out. I played it everytime just to drive the people mad.

Never heard this one from them, but if it wasn't for the title I would've thought it was Pink Floyd.

@edgararvay This is the best thing that they ever did! ... although it's a matter of tastes, of course. Then again, I'm a Pink Floyd fanatic and love all of the freak-outs, trips, etc. during their songs so that may say something about me. Ha!
I wish I could find a "cleaner" version of this somehow, without all of the LP scratches/glitches--do you know where I could find a better quality version of this freak out?

This is indeed a trashy weird refill 45 rpm song or whatever you can call it. I have all the LP's and some 45 rpm's but I missed this one. I saw it in a store in Dallas Fort Worth in 1975. Its the only one I lack in my collection. Did you hear Angeldrawers? Its also a B side song featuring the song "Caroline" side A 45 rpm. That one I have and it is melodical, not instrumental, not a big deal either but worth saying, "I have it".
