If it were possible, I could train Oreo to really love me, that way he would run up to me and stay close by.
I feel heartbroken that I can't drive 2 hours to see the gentoos at the shedd anymore.
But I have to feel better and think (there are other spots that have gentoo penguins), try not to cry. You can still find your gentoo friends at another aquarium.
And did you know that the gentoo penguin is the fastest swimming bird in the world?

The TN aquarium is Gentoo penguin Heaven! They even have names for them.
But poor me, the shedd aquarium (closest one to me) dumped all their gentoos for magellanics, they also have rockhoppers.
Even though i haven't been to the Tennessee aquarium, This place looks like a lot of fun!
(i've considered volunteering here in maybe a couple of years,) If I could name a gentoo penguin. I would name him Oreo.
