Sunset, Lakeside, Ohio

Enjoy an early August sunset over Lake Erie near the pier in Lakeside, Ohio. Each evening, the man with his "Laboradoodle" would play ball with the dog from early evening until the sun set.

I miss Lakeside. I have not seen the place since the 1970's. Wish I could see it again. But live in Florida now and have beautiful sunsets.

I think you'd find Lakeside's not changed much. Lakeside is a place frozen in time, but in a really fabulous way! I live in North Carolina, but we make the trip up every year or so. Indeed beautiful sunsets in FL too!

THANKS KCG2141 for the information about the bell. So they didn't move the bell? I heard they moved it to another place on Lake Erie in Lakeside.

The bell is still there :) kids are still finding rocks to throw at it too!

Thank you for the information about Lakeside. Do you know if the bell is still along the lakeshore. I understand they moved it or replaced it because it was falling apart. I remember getting ice for our icebox. This place was across the street from the grocery store. Then they had a place where you could get fresh orange juice. Not sure about that.
