Here's a Time Lapse video inspired by new found YouTube friend and fellow Time Lapser, Canadianentropy. He did a fun series of time lapse videos of a recent roadtrip from Calgary to Vancouver through some gorgeous snowy, mountainous terrain. I felt like I was driving a racecar through the mountains...you should check it out. These are a bunch of time lapse videos I made here in San Francisco. Hope you like it! Music is called Departure by the HitRECorder sbambrick.

  • Cool video...but at 0:39, why are all the flashing neon signs for the strip clubs on Broadway blurred out? You like the neon, but not "Big Al" or the "Hungry Club" lady?

  • @aztecrobowalk Thanks for the comments! When I did the Broadway video, I had to blur the names because I submitted it to istock. They won't accept any videos with names and I must have used that vid to compile this... :D

  • How did you get shots like around 1:10? Were you on the roof of a building, and if so - did you get special permission?

  • @TemeculaValleyLapse No, it wasn't a roof, if was actually on the top of Telegraph Hill in SF. There's a dead end street on the top of the hill and I zoomed in through AE. No special permission needed (luckily) just lucky living in a city with so many hills! :D

  • At :52 seconds, how did you setup the shot? It looks like it's in the middle of traffic. What type of camera are you using?

    Crazy amazing! Very nice work.

  • @cbcd04 Thanks so much for your comment! This is a huge intersection in North Beach (SF) at Columbus & Broadway. There is actually a meridian that I had my tripod on and Canon 50D. Your compliments are much appreciated!
