This is a TV recording (German TV) of a medley from the "The Lion King" musical. For a charity show, the cast of the German musical in Hamburg did a guest performance; live broadcasted. This is something Disney rarely allows.

This is one of the most beautiful renditions I've heard and I don't speak a word of german. Really speaks to the power of the actors to be able to move people so much regardless of whether or not they understand the language. Simba is fantastic, he reminds me of Jason Raize. And wow is Rafiki's voice ever powerful. I've seen this play in Baltimore and DC already but I'm dying to see it again, especially on Broadway!
