Phavian - Four Albums

We've been quiet... very quiet. But as we've been reassuring everyone, we're hard at work. And all the hard work is about to see the light of day. As of February 1st, 2011, Phavian has been in the studio recording new material. However, being the prolific (read as: ridiculous) band that we are, we're not just recording our sophomore album, but instead our next 4 albums.

• Meridian II
• Inversion
• Stretta

Above are the names of all 4 albums and the order in which they will be released. Keep in mind that we aren't just lunatics that decided it would be a good idea to record nearly 2 1/2 hours of material. All 4 albums actually work together to create one large concept. The concept is broken into 2 main stories, which are then broken into 2 albums each.

The first concept (consisting of Meridian I & Meridian II) follows the story of a man who's ambitions make him into a great ruler. However, when he is at the height of his power, he learns the meaning of betrayal, and acquires a taste for revenge.

The second concept (consisting of Inversion & Stretta) serves as a prequel to the Meridian albums. They unveil the back story to a pivotal character found in the albums. A character with an extraordinary story and power.

The first album, Meridian I, is due to be released in the second half of 2011. Each of the following albums will then be released about 5 months apart, with the last album, Stretta, being released in the first half of 2013.

We're excited to be embarking on such a large endeavor, and are confident in saying that the new material is a newer, better Phavian. We've grown and learned a lot since Kiena, and these 4 albums are the fruits of our labors.

With that said, hopefully you can forgive us for the long silence.
