Gamera Super Monster (Trailer)

This 1980 kiddie monster picture is nothing but a collection of scenes from previous Gamera movies.
In the 1970's there was the following:
JAWS
The 1976 KING KONG remake
THE KROFFT SUPER SHOW
STAR WARS
SUPERMAN (the 1978 movie)
and Disco

And Daiei wants to cash in on those by imitating them. Sorry, no new Gamera footage their.
It's so bad that it goes right next to Toho's GODZILLA'S REVENGE (1969).

@DavidFullam Stock footage nothing, this is a fucking clipshow. There's not a single fucking frame of Gamera that's new. It's literally 100% recycled.

The only things that are new is the shots of Zanon and the humans/space ladies. That's it.

Since when did Gamera come face to face with Space Battleship Yamato anyway? Maybe this is why I prefer Godzilla over this.

Oh, childhood memories. :D

I think this was the only Gamera movie that made it to my side of the Iron Curtain. As a child, I was duly impressed when I saw it. :)
