Yeah, we all know that Kurt Cobain's birthday was 20th February, but WHAT ABOUT WALTER BECKER? He deserves just as much respect and admiration.
Then again, I'm just a Steely Dan fan who gets carried away with this sort of thing. Still, many happy returns to Walter.
And happy birthday for tomorrow, Dad. It seems to be everyone's birthday round about now...

I live on Maui and so does Walter. I saw him just yesterday at the local health food store shopping. I have been rapid fan since high school. I sometimes feel that the music was made just for me...it's so perfect.

Hahaha, I disagree, but thank you. I'm just really pleased to see loads of people loving Walter Becker as much as I do. Circus Money is amazing, I actually woke up early and rushed down to HMV the day it came out. I think I was the only person who bought it that day. XD People just don't know what they're missing!

Cheers to you! I wish I had met a pretty Steely Dan fan when I was in my 20's and listening to them all the time. Belive me , back in the 90's there were barely any SD fans of my age. Nice singing voice too. Peace.

Don't worry, you're not alone. In the 2000s there are hardly any Steely Dan fans of my age, so the loneliness of being a young Dan fan continues!

Thank you! :P Oh christ.... it's so long ago that I don't really remember. Probably a combination of the days when I used to work in a record shop + randomly hearing Dan songs on TV programmes/films + Yacht Rock. Something along those lines.
