At the start of rush hour on June 18th, 2010, a relatively-new Type IV MAX train experienced mechanical problems at the NE 60th MAX station. The electrical and/or software problem caused the brakes to engage whenever the train attempted to move forward. A number of solutions were attempted to move the train to a nearby station where it could be placed out of the way on a siding. I live nearby and received the rider alerts via email and decided to check it out with my camera...
