@tube7562 i agree 100%. I find it hard to want to listen to anyone else no matter the type of music I like. This young girl has a voice like Ive never head in my life and I sang for years and am in awe every time I hear her.

Following a a portion of a review from San Diego concert: With closed eyes, you can enjoy the voice without your brain calling “Timeout!” With eyes open you say, “She cannot hit the ‘High C” in this piece” then when she hit it you say, “That tiny body cannot hold enough air to sustain that note” and you are wrong again! Just keep your eyes shut and stop thinking, because this is a voice from a body that makes absolutely no sense..... Five well-deserved standing ovations from a packed audience.

@oakgrasssib Yes Jackie does have a warmer, richer tone, but I will never cease loving Eva's voice.

And to the poster who says every other singer's voice is "just noise", he will miss a lot of great singers with that attitude. I still listen to Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Niki Evans, Mirusia Louwerse, Faith Hill, Jennifer Rush, Tarja Turunen, Floor Jansen etc.

I prefer to listen to a wide variety of singers, that way I won't go stale and possibly miss a great one.

Amazing voice and lyrics which are so moving especially as we watch news such as the slaughter in Syria - I am sure all caring people need something which uplifts them at this time and inspires us to care about the less fortunate beings on this planet.

@rjc1956 I have no problem knowing which voice she is in; head voice(high) or chest voice(low).

@bparno She was not at the Grammys because her category-Classical Music-was cancelled. On top of THAT indignity, she was not invited to perform. After those two slights, you really can't blame her parents for not wanting her to go to an awards presentation that doesn't even acknowledge her existence.

Jackie has said many times she wants to win a Grammy, but it looks like the only way that will happen is a complete turnaround by the Grammy nominators, but I don't see that happening.
