super- the race was started from pole and each year the track offers a backwards race event. the track is great fun to run in the clockwise direction. there were over 12 karts in the field here.

@smallpebble - Hi Don. Rotax karts can range from $5,000-7500 depending on options. This kart was a Monza Kart (made by Birel) and was the same chassis that won the 2008 rotax Masters Grand Nationals. We sold the package used for just over $5200 with a brand new engine on it.
