Yes... it was recovered 100% intact is is ready to fly again after being reprepped.

Yes, the chute deployment was a little early.
I sent the data file back to the Altimeter manufacturer and it was concluded that the rocket didn't build enough G's until about 2 seconds into the flight to start the avionics, which in turn through off the internal calculations (Interpolation) of the data and caused an early deployment. Using the same electronics the previous summer and a high impulse motor, deployment was perfect.

Fuel was essentially the same as the Shuttle uses in it's SRB's. Strontium was added to give it the Red color. Flame was much more red in person that the video shows, but we've come to accept that.
