Synopsis:
After coming back from Hokkaido, Japan, Xiaoxiao has made up her mind not to love her former boyfriend Fang anymore. In fact, she has given up on loving anyone at all.
But she is fundamentally conflicted about her complicated relationship with Qin Fen: no matter how hard she tries, she just can't make herself fall in love with him.
Qin, for his part, has already proposed to her several times in vain. After so many failures, he finally realizes that Xiaoxiao is unable to genuinely consider him as a lover, and marriage is out of the question.
After Qin attends a "divorce banquet" held by his friend the producer Li Xiangshan, he is inspired to try to take his relationship to the next level. Encouraged by his friends to live together with Xiaoxiao, he rents a house in Sanya on Hainan Island where they move in together.
His plan, however, doesn't go as expected. Their age and personality clashes lead to even more trouble. When Xiaoxiao finally confesses to Qin that her feelings for him are not true love, Qin, alone, leaves Sanya.
They each return to Beijing and choose live separately, but still occasionally miss each other.
Qin, once again a bachelor, becomes very busy. He had been a popular columnist when he lived in the US, and, at the behest of Li Xiangshan, he takes on the job of hosting a tourism show on TV called "Take You Around". The program introduces viewers to Beijing's newly discovered entertainment hot spots, and Qin's humor and sarcastic personality quickly attract a lot of attention to the show, both negative and positive.
At a charity auction, Li Xiangshan bids for and wins a bottle of Chinese liquor, and subsequently reveals that he is suffering from cancer, and doesn't have long to live. Wusang gives Xiaoxiao the bad news when he returns from Japan to prepare to attend Li's funeral. When Xiaoxiao and Li's ex-wife Mango arrive at the funeral, they are in for a shock. "Li's Funeral" is actually a scheme of Qin and a group of his friends. What they have planned instead is in fact a farewell party for Li, to honor his life.
This unexpected reunion of the two couples -- Li Xiangshan and Mango, and Qin and Xiaoxiao -- causes them great embarrassment at first. However, during Li's final days, the love and friendship that surround him melt their emotional barriers. Qin and Xiaoxiao gain a brand new understanding too, of their own relationship.
Xiaoxiao gets back together with Qin, and both of them cherish their time together. It's a wonderful thing to enjoy a sweet life together with your beloved. It seems, though, that it won't be completely smooth sailing for these two sweethearts. But after all, what's a little more bickering when they are bound forever together by their new lovers' accord?

Just got done watching this movie on Netflix!! Oh! Such a great movie! I can relate very well!! Teary eye at the end... I really want that song at the end of the movie. Does anyone know who sings it and what is the name of the song?

Guaranteed goosebumps every time I see this scene... So good movie on filmsi.co.cc. So much is conveyed in those 3 minutes. You can say so much by saying so little. That's the magic of film. Their love felt so real.

Awesome piece of music!! I've actually searched for it for some time. I first heard it in the video series The Arrivals (highly reccomended for open minded truth-seekers). Never seen this movie on filmsi.co.cc, but I will watch it.
