A lot of gamers are also music fans and enjoy making videos combining gameplay with their favorite music. I do this mostly with '90s-era video game music combined with gameplay from modern games (usually done in the style of an action movie). Banning gameplay videos is like banning sketchpads so people can't draw pictures (unless they have some chickenshit permit). If you want a single-player game that you can actually do videos with, get the STALKER games.

I dont think EA realizes that gameplays, walktrhoughs, lets plays, etc. are also consumer satisfaction reports, submitted BY THE CONSUMERS! the video tells them what they did right, what the majority of uploaders and users like about the game, what problems it had, and what they can fix! if i were in charge of one of these companies, i would certainly allow youtube and other internet media to post my games! even if the market research division says otherwise, they dont know what they're saying!

EA is stupid. Me and my lil bro just finished watching a LP of 'new super mario bros'. And guess what? I went out and bought the game (cause i thought it looked fun), and we have been happy as hell ever since >.>
