Here are two classic songs performed by Mara Lynn Brown, chosen to underline the beauty of the wonderful Daliah Lavi.
Daliah Lavi (born Daliah Lewinbuk in 1942) is an Israeli actress, singer and model. Born in Shavei Zion, British Mandate of Palestine, to a Russian father and a German mother, she studied ballet in Stockholm, Sweden, where she appeared in her first film: "Hemsöborna" (1955). Returning to Israel, her career took off properly in 1960, when she started appearing in a large number of European and American productions. Fluent in several languages, she has been in German, French, Italian, Spanish and English-language films. Lavi's film appearances include Vincente Minnelli's "Two Weeks in Another Town" (1962), Mario Bava's gothic classic "La Frusta e il corpo" (aka "The Whip and the Body", 1963), the role of The Girl in "Lord Jim", and the first Matt Helm movie "The Silencers" (1966) that starred Dean Martin and Stella Stevens. However, her most famous role is probably as The Detainer/007 in "Casino Royale" (1967) opposite Woody Allen.
With the decline of her film career, Lavi began a successful singing career in Germany, with hits such as "Oh, wann kommst du?" and "Willst du mit mir gehn?".

  • What is the name of this first song....so lovelly voice.

    Please anyone can tell me...

  • "A House Is Not A Home"

  • yes, beautiful pictures of Daliah. But why didn't you let Daliah sing herself? She has such an exceptional voice and soooooo many fantastic songs ...

  • Indeed, but her songs didn't match my montage, and, moreover, many songs of hers are already on YouTube.

  • israeli gorgeous baby

  • Just amazingly great! Shame you don't see as much of the body of her work here in the US outside of the "silly" stuff like Casino Royale (1967)! she's always been a favorite of mine for sure! Also...did you ever notice the resemblance (IMO) of E's Guilliana Ransic to Lavi? I've looked it up & they aren't related! :-)

  • Daliah Lavi has to be the most beautiful woman on earth !

  • Thanks....Its so hard to find her songs.....gosh..

  • okay, I understand! no offense :-)

  • so very beautiful.
