@Zuomigundi Well, this 'shitbarrel' as you call it was the most modern aircraft in the world at one point.. but as aircrafts developed very rapidly just before and during the WWII it very soon was obsolete! It still saw good service though on many battlefronts.. :) I bellieve the Finns flew a few themselves, making good use of captured enemy aircraft.. :)

@BasicModelling Of course it was modern aircraft when it was created, but many pilots say it was too easy to drop, because it catched flames pretty easily and pilot had nothing to cover his head :)

I-16 has very good agility and it was pretty fast, when I said 'shitbarrel' I was talking about the look of that plane. And, if pilot is good enough, no one can hit plane = it doesn't matter at all how many hits will destroy it :)
