www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR is a guitar for todays extreme musician who does not follow the pack. It is for the musician who leads the way with an unrelenting commitment to creativity and desire to push the boundaries of modern music. And its for the guitarist who isnt afraid to shake the ground, raise some hell, and decimate the landscape. No matter what style or method you engage in, no matter how you label or describe your music, the Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR is the necessary means to achieve your musical goals. This mahogany bodied, 24 fret, set neck instrument comes equipped with an EMG 81/89 active pickup set. These are the pickups that have defined a generation of extreme music. Go from crushing and brutal sledgehammer rhythms to the most pristine clean tones in an instant. This is the sound of modern music. A push/pull switch has been added and it splits the pickup for single coil tones, opening up the versatility of this instrument. Also Added to the Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR is an original Floyd Rose locking tremolo. This is the locking tremolo that set the guitar world on fire, and with this added weapon in your sonic arsenal, unleash all the auditory mayhem you can muster or add the most subtle of effect to your playing. All of these features are enhanced by the devilish looks of the Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR. Choose a hellish quilted maple top in black cherry, or a classy gloss black or white, and Gothic cross inlays or abalone or grey pearl binding.

  • Hey, I got a question: I've bought a hellraiser c-1 FR, but because I have a Marshall MG30FX amplifier, I always feel like the sound isn't as good as I thought. I've been thinking of changing pickups for Dimarzio Liquifire and Crunch Lab. Would that be a good choice? Or shall I invest on a distortion pedal or amp?

  • @Alkinoos7 - Don't worry about pickups or pedals at this point. It's the amp. Put your money towards a decent tube amp and your guitar sound will come alive. Thanks for watching!

  • this or blackjack atx c-1 fr?

  • I got a serious question. What strings do you use on it, for soloing? And, how do you feel about the action of that guitar? I have this guitar but it's not very comfortable to play. The action seems a bit high, the strings seem a bit thick, even though I've changed both these variables..

  • I'd really like to know - Clearly this is a big step up from the Damien Elite FR, but is it really that much better? Is it worth the price difference? I'm leaning towards the Damien Elite FR, but I'm sort of stuck on which to get. If it's not a life changing difference, then I'll stay DEFR. Can you give me any insight on which to get?

  • Hey!

Did you record the sound directly into the camera, or is it going through a computer or something?

Great sounding and looking guitar, and an awesome review!

  • lol , thats not a flame maple top, thats a quilt maple

  • Is my amp (a marshall mg10kk) the reason why I cant seem to make the pinch harmonics sound come through the amp? I have the Schecter Hellraiser Special C-1 FR. And if so what good tube amps would you recommend, good and affordable of course! Thanks!

  • when you use the whammy on this thing, does it knock it out of tune too bad?

  • What's a good price for a used one??

  • Love my hellraiser c7FR, still don't have my own amp to do it justice yet though (currently looking after my mates dark terror and engl cab and realising what i've been missing!!!)

  • im ashamed to call myself a guitarist... =(
