During these bad Dubya Bush days, participants nostalgically dressed in period costumes convince themselves and others that they have entered Dicken's period when the economic times were also hard. They joyfully stroll Riverside's downtown area and, chat about the bad times then and now, mingle with each other, with residents of riverside as well as the Inland Empire.

Characters include a bicycle rider, whores & pimps, fictive dramatic actors, cowboy w/cowgirl, US Union soldiers, US Confederate Soldiers, British soldiers, cloth weavers, Scottish Bagpiper, sharecroppers, Royal Beefeater, bandits, msrchants, officers, royalty along with Queen Victoria and her court, etc.
