Primary example, amongst others on the show, of HOW or WHY parents SHOULDNT and MUSTNT always believe that their kids will ALL be STR8!..saves soo much disappointment and anger!

no, you won't get smacked on the wrist for that. In my opinion, the L Word and QAF are such different shows in terms of style (if not content) that comparing them is a bit impossible. But I agree that L word does have some completely amazing actors.
