  • THANK YOU!!!

What is the diameter of the Lyra hoop is most comfortable for beginners? 1" or 1 1/4" or????

  • @coachgeo You are welcome! To your question: I am just an amateur myself, I would not be the best person to give you exact numbers... The best thing to do, if you can, go around different studios and try practise on different hoops. Its the best. Personally, I find slimmer hoops more elegant, but I remember when I just started I had such slim French hoop and it hurt much more than thicker ones. After some time, it does not really matter...

  • @piccolodu4e RE: "if you can, go around different studios and try practise on different hoops." hahaha..... no such animal around here. Closest iffff it's still in biz is about 6 hour drive from here. Due to material restrictions odds are there is only one or two sizes available. BTW speaking of the diameter of the tube NOT the diamater of the hoop 's circle. As in the diamter if the tube in your palm when you wrap you wrap your hand around when holding it. Ask your instructor?

  • thnx! ^^
