hey i just got the 808 keychain cam, i love it!!! great videos not so great pics, all in all fun but i cant change the time stamp...... i have tried and tried, i have watched videos but the videos i am watching people are using a mac and not a pc, can you help me? im about to give up on it... but it would be nice to atleast have the rigth date on the video.... please can some one help me??!!?

@jc4u2nvme It works exactly the same on a PC, unless you got one of the factory rejects on ebay. It won't work on them.

Hey I got one from hobbyking as far as I can tell its the exact same apart from the folders. Yours has a DCIM but mine has a IMAGE and then a VIDEO with a RECORD folder in each which is where it saves things. In the video it also has a VLT folder with 2 files in it. I tried this and put it beside the IMAGE and VIDEO folders but it didnt work. My date is 1980 : /

@action571 It does not work on the factory rejects sold on eBay for $1, or the ones with the built in memory. Ours is the high resolution version with clear video and audio with no meeps, murps, noises, or underwater sounds. Otherwise you are SOL. We specifically carry the best ones that have the ability to adjust the time & date.

how do you remove the timestamp though?

The time will start when the camera starts recording and will stop when the camera stops recording. If you follow the instructions to the video, it will appear to work, but wait an hour or so and try it again. The time will restart at wherever you left off at the end of the first video you recorded.

It works even on the GUM camera.

Now figure out how to delete that stinkin date stamp from this mini spy cams without having to rewire them internally lol
