took my phone to sprint to get fixed... in 2.5 hours they did a hard reset, software update and said if it was still messed up when i got home come back and talk to a manager. THANKS FOR NOTHING SPRINT!!!!!

  • I have exactly the same problem on my Hero. Its 1 years old, and it is updatet to 2.1. The touch screen has its own mind. My wife and i baught hero at the same time. She hasnt updated it and it works fine. Mine is shit, I really hate this crappy phone. Worst one ive had. Today I went to the store to buy a samsung e2370. Simple, and I dont have to worry if it works or not.

  • hell yeahh my htc hero does this its a piece of shit phone always freezes and shit , im has crash so many times and i dont even have any apps on it and sprint is trying to blame it on me

  • an upgrade to this phone. The store should have ordered you a replacement, if nothing else. But call the Sprint customer service, not the dumbasses as the store. I went in to have them upgrade me to the 2.1 and they said the htc didn't have that. I preceded to tell them it did, & they felt mighty stupid when I was right. Those guys wouldn't know their dicks if they blew it themselves. Don't even bother with them.

  • Damn dude, what the hell happened to your phone? Call the customer service through the phone, not a Sprint store, but the actual Sprint people and they will send you a new one. I got mine because the instinct s30 I had was constantly f*ing up and the Sprint guys at the store didn't know anything, kept saying it was my fault. They got replacements in that did the same fuck up of, (see my vids) and finally through the customer service after talking with them for I don't know how long they gave me.
