Baja Motorsports Mini Baja TAV addition and operation

This is my Mini Baja..I have added front brakes, a Comet Industries TAV2 Torque convertor, chain tensioner and a Speedo. This video shows how the TAV works to vary the gear ratio of the bike..like a constant velocity transmission0 Very cool Enjoy!

Hi The bike came from Canadian Tire- $599 on sale.. the TAV you can get from various places- have to look around and check EBAY. I think Pep Boys in the States sells the Baja too

im 350 lbs and fet 68KM/Hr with a 60 tooth rear sprocket so should be zero issues for u

what is all the info to buy one? i think i need to know the  chain size how to i know what size it is?

is it a 10 tooth sprocket or 12

@secretasianman840 Hi I have a 10 tooth on the TAV and a 60 tooth (non stock) rear sprocket- The original is 50 tooth and way too fast for trail riding- on road OK but to climb either get a 60 tooth rear or the easier way is to order a 9 tooth for the TAV end.  Unfortunately Comet is now out of buisness so parts are an issue. There are some other manufacturers now of the same product out there.
